Which Line Is Longer?
A classic - but you still won't see them as equal.
Which line is longer?
Why it happens
The Müller-Lyer illusion. Fins pointing outward read like a concave corner (far away), fins pointing inward like a convex corner (close up). Your brain silently corrects for the distance it inferred - stretching one line and shrinking the other. Knowing the trick doesn't switch it off.
